As a solo founder living in Sweden's capital, I experienced firsthand how the bustling city life could sometimes feel paradoxically isolating, especially when wanting to enjoy activities that are better shared.
I noticed how people would often skip activities they loved—morning walks, gym sessions, concerts, or coffee explorations—simply because they had no one to share the experience with. In a digital age where we're more connected than ever online, real-world connections were becoming increasingly rare.

Hi, I'm Sam, the founder of MyKompis. As a Stockholm resident, I've experienced the unique blend of urban connectivity and Nordic reserve that characterizes this beautiful city. My background in tech and entrepreneurship led me to create a solution that addresses a universal human need: connection through shared activities.
MyKompis began as a personal project to solve my own challenge of finding company for various activities, but it quickly grew into something much larger as I realized how many others faced the same issue.
